Brisa partnered with HOPICS and the County of Los Angeles to use HomeKey funds to purchase and adaptively reuse a derelict motel as permanent supportive housing in Compton. To support resident wellbeing, the development team converted the parking lot into a peaceful garden with walking path and shade structure. This project additionally features wraparound services space and case manager offices.
